Manager Strategic Partnerships

We're now looking for an experienced partnerships leader to accelerate our growth by creating high-impact strategic alliances.

The Role

You'll own ChessPoint's partnership strategy from idea to execution. Your mission is to identify, negotiate, launch, and grow partnerships that bring new users, increase engagement, and strengthen the ChessPoint brand.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role with significant autonomy and direct exposure to company leadership.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute ChessPoint's global partnership strategy.
• Identify and approach companies, platforms, creators, publishers, universities, gaming communities, brands, and organizations that can introduce new users to ChessPoint.
• Structure win‑win commercial and marketing partnerships.
• Negotiate partnership agreements from first contact through execution.
• Coordinate launches with marketing, product, and community teams.
• Measure performance using KPIs including user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue.
• Build a scalable partnership pipeline and CRM.
• Represent ChessPoint at conferences, online events, and industry meetings.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, growth, or enterprise sales.
• Demonstrated experience closing commercial partnerships.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable business impact.
• Self‑starter who enjoys building from zero.

Nice to Have

• Experience in gaming, esports, fintech, creator economy, Web3, consumer apps, or sports technology.
• Existing network across gaming, media, education, or digital communities.
• Passion for chess is a plus—but not required.

Within your first year, you will have:

• Built a high-quality global partnership pipeline.
• Signed multiple strategic partnerships that generate measurable user growth.
• Established repeatable partnership processes and reporting.
• Helped make partnerships one of ChessPoint's largest acquisition channels.
