Manager Strategic Commercial Readiness & Onboarding (International)
Overview
Motorola Solutions seeks a Manager, Strategic Commercial Readiness & Onboarding to drive comprehensive commercial readiness for an international team. You will ensure new international colleagues are thoroughly trained, equipped, and prepared for high-quality engagements with global customers, covering both technical knowledge and total business operations proficiency. You will lead onboarding and enablement initiatives across international regions and coordinate with internal experts across engineering, sales ops, and product teams to keep training programs progressing toward day-one readiness in the field.
Responsibilities
- Drive the Go-to-Market Onboarding & Enablement program for international team members, ensuring full readiness across technical solutions and internal business operations.
- Aid in developing and executing training modules covering internal business processes, sales operations tools, CRM workflows, and commercial best practices for international markets.
- Partner across Sales, Engineering, Product, and Operations to design, optimize, and scale the end-to-end curriculum.
- Coordinate with internal content creators and SMEs to keep training assets up-to-date and effective, spanning technical manuals to business playbooks.
- Maintain a structured feedback loop and Skill Matrix to identify and address gaps in technical understanding and operational compliance for the international team.
- Manage the operational calendar for recurring Refresher & Advanced Skills training, aligning on new features and updated business processes.
- Orchestrate logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation for global training programs across time zones.
- Coordinate the post-onboarding field application phase, guiding new hires as they engage with clients to refine skills and achieve field proficiency.
Qualifications
- Professional background with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Corporate Training, Instructional Design, Sales Operations, Business Enablement, or Program Management.
- 3+ years of experience delivering training programs, onboarding initiatives, or managing commercial enablement platforms.
- Proven track record of executing structured training curricula using adult learning principles and achieving readiness across diverse teams.
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, coordinate with SMEs, and organize complex program logistics.
- Global mobility: Valid citizenship and passport enabling obtaining visas and entry into primary international countries of operation.
- Exceptional communication: Ability to structure information in an accessible, actionable way aligned with business operations and customer-facing standards.
- Drive and initiative: Proactive in managing schedules, readiness benchmarks, and project momentum.
Travel & Work Conditions
- Travel up to 50% of the time for on-site training, trade shows, and international field demonstrations.
- Remote/Home office environment with a dedicated, professional workspace.
- Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs (23 kg) for demonstration purposes.
