Manager, Pre Sales

We are looking for a Solution Engineering Manager to lead our team of Solution Engineers in France. The team works closely with Sales Reps and prospects to define and demonstrate the value of the HubSpot platform, providing technical expertise across all customer segments during the sales cycle. As a manager, you will drive performance, build high‑performing teams, and collaborate cross‑functionally to influence product direction and buyer trends.

In this role, you will:

  • Support ongoing growth and development, including recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Partner with sales leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Coach the team toward attaining key performance metrics and goals.
  • Deliver against your objectives and key results.
  • Integrate the PreSales teams into SaaS GTM strategy and best practices.
  • Maximize your impact by understanding the motivations of your team and adapting communication accordingly.
  • Drive and contribute to regional and global projects to improve operational excellence and drive innovation.

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Solid experience managing PreSales teams with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills that influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with diverse teams across various geographical locations.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong team culture in a hybrid environment.
  • Experience with cross‑functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business development.
  • Strong management skills and a people‑first mindset, motivating and mentoring team members.
  • Sharp business acumen.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to identify trends and patterns.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced SaaS sales environment.
  • Pre‑sales activities experience, including proposal development, client presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Reporting skills via Excel/GSheets, BI tools such as Looker, SQL, etc. a plus.
  • Experience with upmarket scoping and deployment, and working with partners is a plus.
