Manager, PayPal+ France Lead
Overview
The role leads the strategy and commercial performance of PayPal’s consumer loyalty program in France, owning market-level growth outcomes and cross-functional execution across local commercial, partnerships, product, marketing, and financial services teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities.
- Lead negotiations with external partners and mobilize cross-functional support to deliver solutions for large complex partnerships.
- Shape long-term commercial strategy by assessing market dynamics, competitive positioning, and partnership performance to prioritize high-impact growth opportunities.
- Establish scalable partnership frameworks and operating models that streamline execution and ensure consistent partner value delivery.
- Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Research teams to translate business priorities into scalable solutions, ensuring technical design and implementation align with growth and customer experience objectives.
- Represent the end customer on an ongoing basis to drive effective prioritization and decision-making.
- Collaborate and influence product outcomes in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Banking Partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or scaling a consumer loyalty, rewards, or membership program.
- Background in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or consumer financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes (user growth, engagement, transaction volume) in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with France’s payments or retail loyalty landscape (e.g. coalition programs, cashback platforms).
- Strong analytical fluency — comfortable interpreting incrementality frameworks, cohort analysis, and A/B testing to inform program decisions.
- Experience managing local market execution within a global program or platform organization.
- Effective communicator who can translate strategy into clear stakeholder narratives across senior leadership, country teams, and internal partners.
