Overview

We are looking for a Manager Département Actuariat et Conception Technique Epargne Retraite to join our department in Puteaux, France. The role is a CDI (cadre) position within Swiss Life's Pension Savings and UC unit of the Products Actuarial Department.

Contract: CDI – Cadre Statut (full‑time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Define directions and deploy departmental activities to enrich product & retirement savings offerings.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including launch and new evolutions, in collaboration with all Swiss Life functions.
  • Negotiate and enforce specific protocols and underwriting policy.
  • Support Distribution leadership in developing partnerships and networks.
  • Measure product performance and profitability, defining risk measurement tools and methods.
  • Coordinate and recommend continuous product improvement actions based on technical trend, client satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Lead strategic and transversal projects within the company.
  • Contribute to the department’s strategy and resources optimisation.
  • Coach and develop service or team managers, improving their competencies.
  • Balance achievement of objectives with appropriate resource allocation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in a product actuarial role or equivalent.
  • Higher education BAC+5 in engineering, econometrics, and/or actuarial science.
  • Client‑centric mindset, engagement, and agility.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage urgent and unexpected situations.
  • Result‑driven with a focus on delivery within deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication to interact with stakeholders.
