Major Account Manager - System Integrator
Job Summary
Major Account Manager (MAC) partners with customers to secure their entire digital experience. You deliver product and solution recommendations at every stage of the threat prevention journey, driving significant revenue growth for Palo Alto Networks. You work closely with internal partners and teams to educate, empower, and guide clients through large complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal partners and teams.
- Conduct consultative selling to identify business challenges and craft solutions for prospects and customers.
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs, positioning Palo Alto Networks solutions effectively.
- Create clear goals and deliver accurate forecasting through a detailed territory plan.
- Leverage prospect stories to develop a compelling value proposition specific to each account.
- Stay current on industry news and trends and communicate how they impact Palo Alto Networks products and services.
- Travel within territory and attend company‑wide meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS‑based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry.
- Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
- Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products solve business problems.
- Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
- Experience cultivating relationships with channel partners to support a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach.
- In‑depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and a structured sales process.
- Holistic problem‑solving mindset, understanding complex interrelationships and outcomes.
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to work independently.
