Maintenance Training Development Instructor (f/m)
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Maintenance Training Development Instructor to join Airbus’ Training Center within the Airbus Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France.
Overview
As Maintenance Training Development Instructor, you will contribute to Airbus Maintenance Training by designing, specifying and leading the development of cost‑efficient training solutions in line with Airbus Maintenance Training strategy, business needs and regulatory requirements. You will be accountable for the On Time, On Cost, and On Quality completion of all activities and delivery of outputs.

Your challenges
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Development, production and content analysis (≥70% of your mission)
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis to justify content and duration of maintenance training courses.
- Analyze impact of Airworthiness Directives, Design Modifications, customer and instructor feedback, safety issues, and in‑service issues on training courses, materials and means.
- Identify customer needs, opportunities and trends to propose innovative maintenance training products and services.
- Participate in creating the theoretical syllabus and practical elements of courses, considering Airbus Maintenance Training Reference and regulatory framework.
- Maintain instructional qualifications through required continued training.
- Assess selection of training means and teaching methods, produce training specifications, including technical requirements and pedagogical approach.
- Validate training material and means to ensure compliance with specifications and support course approval or qualification.
Delivery of training courses (≤30% of your mission)
- Deliver and teach the courses.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance (Part 145 environment). Mandatory.
- EASA Part 66 B1.1 Aircraft Maintenance License with at least one Airbus aircraft type endorsement (no other licenses). Mandatory.
- Negotiation‑level English proficiency, CEFR C1 or equivalent. Mandatory.
- Technical knowledge/experience in Airbus aircraft types (Airframe and/or Power Plant ATA chapters).
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desired and preferred qualifications
- EASA Part 66 B1.1 AML with A319/A320/A321 endorsement.
- EASA Form 4 or other EASA Part 147 MTO List of Instructors qualification and experience as an instructor.
This role will involve some travel worldwide; you must be able to travel accordingly.
