What are your contributions to the team?
- Prepare time‑critical maintenance inputs from start to finish.
- Communicate with operators, suppliers and third parties – ensuring smooth maintenance for the engineer and operator.
- Prepare work packages for the certifying staff and the mechanics.
- Source required spares, material and tools in accordance with the aircraft’s manuals, including logistics from vendor to installation – especially for time‑critical Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
- Prepare follow‑up work reports for customers.
- Maintain history files for customers.
- Plan maintenance work in cooperation with customers and manage the company planning tool.
- Be responsible for complete communication between the operator and engineer from start to finish of any maintenance input, also as required with the OEMs.
- Arrange travel for engineers in case of AOG scenarios.
- Ensure all received parts have correct documentation (Form 1/Form 8130/CofC) and that they are returned to the vendor on time if needed.
- Prepare certificates (e.g., Form 1).
- Assist in providing time estimates.
- Create quotes for customers.
How to thrive in this role?
- Knowledge of applicable EASA and FAA regulations is required; additional regulations such as those for the Isle of Man, San Marino, etc. are preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Part‑M, Part‑145 and any other relevant regulations.
- Knowledge of manuals (e.g., MPD, AMM, IPC, etc.) and a thorough understanding of aircraft systems, including regulations such as MEL.
- Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL.
- Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
- Strong written and oral communication skills about individual tasks or the status of aircraft.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to train other employees.
- At least two years of experience as a maintenance planner with an aircraft technical background.
- Customer‑centric mindset.
- Experience with Bombardier aircraft is a plus; experience with other business aircraft is also valuable.
- Good communication skills in French and English.
- Team player, motivated decision maker, and able to multitask.
