Maintenance Engineer- Vascular- Nantes or Tours or Bordeaux H/F

Job Overview

We are recruiting a Junior Field Service Engineer in France to support installation, upgrade, repair and preventative maintenance of vascular capital equipment. The role works closely with the central dispatch team and sales/clinical colleagues to deliver service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware/software field support: system installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair; demo system maintenance and preparation for congresses.
• Document field service interventions per QA system requirements.
• Report capital equipment incidents per QA system requirements.
• Provide support and technical assistance for in-house training courses and congresses.
• Deliver system maintenance and troubleshooting training to customer biomedical engineering departments and Abbott sales and field clinical staff.
• Travel extensively nationally and internationally as required.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering or similar preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Prior experience in medical electronics service or related field service required; experience with medical devices/software based medical systems advantageous.
• Strong electronic and mechanical engineering skills including troubleshooting.
• Computer skills: MS Office, Linux.
• Familiarity with Cathlab/operating room procedures/protocols advantageous.
• Willingness to be flexible, respond at short notice to scheduling requirements, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Location and Travel

Based in Tours or Nantes, with 75% travel required. Role may be based in Rungis.
