Mainframe Security & IAM Architect
Job Description
The Mainframe Security & IAM Specialist contributes to the management and evolution of Identity & Access Security services in mainframe environments, with particular focus on RACF and related IAM processes and tools. The role works closely with internal teams to support secure access management and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
- Architecture & Solution Support: Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of RACF-based IAM solutions across multi-country environments; support the definition of access models, roles and authorization structures; collaborate with teams involved in IAM platforms and integration initiatives, SIEM and monitoring solutions; assist in the adoption of common security standards and configurations across environments.
- Security Governance & Compliance: Support compliance activities related to internal controls and audit requirements (e.g. ISAE 3402); contribute to access certification and privileged account review processes; assist in the collection of audit evidence, reporting activities and remediation follow-up.
- Mainframe IAM Service Support: Contribute to the management of the Mainframe IAM service lifecycle; support service monitoring activities, backlog management and SLA tracking; participate in the implementation and maintenance of standard processes and workflows, including ServiceNow-based processes; identify opportunities for service improvements and share recommendations with the team.
- Projects & Technology Evolution: Participate in projects related to Mainframe Security and RACF environments; support initiatives involving RACF administration tools, including migrations and technology upgrades; contribute to project planning, effort estimation and solution implementation activities; assist in modernization and optimization initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide technical expertise on Mainframe IAM and RACF topics within the team; collaborate with Infrastructure Security, IAM Governance, and Application teams; support coordination activities across different stakeholders to help meet project and operational objectives.
Qualifications
Professional Experience
- 5 years in Identity & Access Management
- Mainframe Security / RACF
- Identity Governance
- Experience in enterprise-level environments
- Experience with audit and compliance processes
- Experience in multi-country / distributed organizations
Technical Skills
- English at least B2 level. Italian is a plus
- IBM z/OS Mainframe
- RACF (advanced administration and governance)
- IAM processes and tools
- IBM zSecure / RACF toolsets
- SIEM integration and security monitoring
- Audit & compliance frameworks
- Sailpoint, CyberArk, EntraID
Soft Skills
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Analytical and structured mindset
- Stakeholder management across functions
- Ability to operate as SME / Architect
Certifications on specific tools and/or security are a plus
What we offer
We offer employment at the VI level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
Gross annual salary ranging between 50K€ and 55K€. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate's professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
