Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and support DB2 databases in mainframe or enterprise environments.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries, database performance and access paths.
• Support production incidents, service requests and root cause analysis activities.
• Manage database changes, maintenance tasks, backup, restore and recovery activities.
• Collaborate with application, mainframe, infrastructure and production teams.
• Contribute to capacity, availability, monitoring and operational improvement actions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of DB2 platform reliability and service quality.

Mandatory skills

• Strong experience with DB2 database administration or DB2 production support.
• Good knowledge of DB2 on z/OS and/or DB2 LUW environments.
• Strong SQL skills, including query analysis and performance tuning.
• Understanding of mainframe environments, JCL and related operational processes.
• Experience with backup, restore, recovery and database maintenance activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Good documentation and operational support capabilities.
• Strong communication skills in English.

• Availability for hybrid work in Paris.

• Experience in regulated or financial services environments.
