DB2 Mainframe - z/OS / SQL / Performance EngineerLocation :
Paris, FranceResponsibilities
- Administer, monitor and support DB2 databases in mainframe or enterprise environments.
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries, database performance and access paths.
- Support production incidents, service requests and root cause analysis activities.
- Manage database changes, maintenance tasks, backup, restore and recovery activities.
- Collaborate with application, mainframe, infrastructure and production teams.
- Contribute to capacity, availability, monitoring and operational improvement actions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operating procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of DB2 platform reliability and service quality.
Mandatory skills
- Strong experience with DB2 database administration or DB2 production support.
- Good knowledge of DB2 on z/OS and/or DB2 LUW environments.
- Strong SQL skills, including query analysis and performance tuning.
- Understanding of mainframe environments, JCL and related operational processes.
- Experience with backup, restore, recovery and database maintenance activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Good documentation and operational support capabilities.
- Strong communication skills in English.
