Machine Learning Engineer (Jeune Docteur)

Overview

Dashlane is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a PhD to work on cutting‑edge research in web understanding. The role focuses on developing the fastest and most accurate autofill experience and enhancing user security with AI‑powered capabilities such as credential risk detection and phishing prevention.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models that analyze large labeled and unlabeled web page datasets.

• Pioneer state‑of‑the‑art web analysis techniques to improve the autofill experience.

• Build intelligent security tools within a zero‑knowledge architecture, ensuring no user data is accessed.

• Maintain and improve existing data pipelines, including data collection tools, databases, model training pipelines, and integration into the Dashlane web extension.

• Collaborate closely with ML Engineers, Software Engineers, product managers, and designers in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling large amounts of data.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Python, Scikit‑learn, and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience integrating foundation models into production products.
• Experience with machine learning cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Interest in data privacy and online security.

Location

You will be based in Paris, France. The role supports a hybrid work arrangement: a company‑wide department day in office, a departmental team‑bonding day, and a flexible third day of your choice. English is the primary working language.
