Context: The SMART AI Center of Excellence develops conversational AI solutions for the insurance industry (customer relations, claims, assistance, etc.). We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in NLP/Generative AI to design, train, and deploy next-generation voicebots and chatbots from end to end (from business need to production). Responsibilities:

• Scoping & Design o Gather and formalize business requirements (voice journeys, conversation scenarios, KPIs). o Design conversational architectures (voicebot, chatbot). Modeling & Training o Train, adapt, and evaluate NLP models . o Work with voice components (ASR/TTS) and integrate them into the conversational pipeline. Industrialization & Deployment o Implement MLOps pipelines (data preparation, training, evaluation, CI/CD). o Ensure ongoing operational support: quality monitoring, drift detection, and continuous optimization. Continuous Improvement o Analyze conversation logs and identify areas for improvement. o Propose and implement improvements to models, prompts, and conversational flows. o Collaborate closely with business, IT, and customer relations teams. Desired Profile – Minimum 3 years of experience Technical Skills o Solid experience in Machine Learning/NLP. o Knowledge of LLM and generative AI applied to conversation. o Proficiency in Python and major frameworks . o Experience with voicebot/ASR/TTS platforms is a plus. Functional Skills/Soft Skills o Ability to work from business requirements to production. o Focus on user experience quality (customer journey, tone, clarity of responses). o Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment (business, IT, data). o Experience in banking/insurance or a regulated environment is appreciated.
