M365 Technical Architect - Messaging & Identity

Paris, France

We are hiring a Senior Microsoft 365 Architect to join a leading organisation in France, working on complex enterprise transformation programmes including M&A, divestitures, and tenant-to-tenant migrations .

This role sits at the heart of large-scale Microsoft 365 change, where Identity and Messaging are mission-critical .

Key Focus Areas

• Business carve-outs (divestitures) and integrations
• Enterprise identity separation and consolidation
• Exchange Online architecture and migration strategy
• Hybrid Exchange (on-premises to Microsoft 365)
• Mail flow, routing, and cross-tenant coexistence
• Cutover planning and execution for complex migrations
• Proven experience delivering tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Experience with carve-out / divestiture or integration programmes
• Strong understanding of cross-tenant identity and workload transitions

Messaging (Core Requirement)

• Deep knowledge of mail flow, routing, and coexistence
• Experience with Hybrid Exchange environments
• Proven ability to design and execute cutover strategies
• Experience handling complex messaging dependencies in enterprise migrations

Microsoft 365 & Identity

• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) design and migration
• Identity governance, access control, and security models
• Microsoft 365 security and compliance
• Teams and SharePoint migration experience (secondary but beneficial)

Candidate Profile

• Strong background in enterprise Microsoft 365 transformation programmes
• Hands‑on experience in complex migration or consulting environments
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and technical teams
• Able to lead design discussions and migration planning workshops
