(M/W) Exoskeleton Control Internship
This job offer is also available in French language on request.
Within a young and dynamic company located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, you will take part in the development of our exoskeleton’s control algorithms. You will be part of the Controls, Architecture, Products, Simulation engineering team, made up of 7 AI & Control engineers, within a multidisciplinary structure of about 150 people, in a young and fast-growing company.
Our exoskeleton Eve has recently received FDA clearance, and we’re now looking to expand its capabilities to further empower our users. You will contribute to the development of this medical device, helping people with disabilities regain mobility and autonomy.
This work will span modeling, optimized trajectory generation, and/or control strategy development.
Your main activities will include, for example (non-exhaustive list):
- Contribute to expanding the exoskeleton’s capabilities and range of possible motions, working alongside team members (new features, enhanced user experience, easier maintenance and production work, etc.)
- Validating control architectures in a simulation
- Testing control architectures experimentally with the exoskeleton, and adapting them to the problems encountered
- Participating in the team’s tests on the exoskeleton
