M&A Analyst / Associate – Technology

A leading independent corporate finance advisory firm is looking to strengthen its Paris team with an M&A Analyst and Associate focused on the Technology sector .

The firm advises entrepreneurs, shareholders, corporates and financial investors on a broad range of strategic and transactional situations, including buy-side and sell-side M&A, strategic acquisitions, disposals and capital raising .

The successful candidate will join a lean, high-performing team and work on transactions involving businesses across the Technology sector , with exposure to areas such as software, digital services, technology-enabled businesses and other innovative technology companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the execution of M&A transactions from origination through to closing
• Preparing financial analyses, valuation models and transaction materials
• Building and reviewing financial models, including DCF, trading and transaction multiples and LBO analyses
• Preparing pitch books, teasers, information memoranda and management presentations
• Conducting company, industry and market research
• Identifying and screening potential acquisition targets and buyers
• Supporting due diligence processes and coordinating with legal, tax, accounting and other external advisers
• Participating in client meetings and interactions with senior management
• Assisting senior team members with business development and preparation of marketing materials
