Communication and PR Assistant
Under the supervision of the Communication and PR Manager/Coordinator/ Specialist, the Communication and PR Assistant supports and works on communication, PR, event management, media and materials to effectively represent the company's products and services to customers and prospects.
Key Objectives
Support all marketing and communication activities according to the agreed strategy. Assist in communications PR, media relations and event management with clear objectives in terms of quality, visibility, social presence, brand image alignment, and branding at worldwide level.
Responsibilities
- Collect and develop content for communication channels (web, newsletter, press packages, enrollment).
- Coordinate the activities of outsourced resources.
- Ensure proper communication on media regarding institutional projects, industry relations, academic activities, and products to enhance brand awareness nationally and internationally.
- Support marketing‑oriented activities to aid enrollment.
- Develop direct relationships with national, regional, and international press contacts to enhance school reputation.
- Support PR and media relation activities, ensuring company types are deployed and promoted consistently.
- Support and oversee press events, including local level.
- Contribute to managing the flow of information about the organization to the media.
- Gather and disseminate timely information to staff through innovative internal communication tools.
- Collaborate with the Chief Alumni, Industry Liaison and Career Advice unit and the Business Development team to build a “portfolio” of prestigious contacts and celebrities, enhancing industry link.
- Compose and edit corporate press releases, company literature, internal and external articles, Q&A, and press kits.
- Organize, plan, and ensure success of fashion shows, degree shows, talent shows, business conferences, parties, graduation ceremonies, and academic year openings across schools worldwide.
Minimum Requirements
- Educational: Degree in Communication, Communication Design, Marketing, or Advertising.
- Experience: Minimum 4/5 years in a Communication or Event organization role; experience in an international and multi‑cultural environment.
Soft Skills
- Multi‑tasking capability, highly motivated, positive attitude.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure.
- Proactivity and flexibility.
IT Skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite.
Languages
- Fluent English.
