Local HRBP - Grid Integration
The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for an HR Business Partner to support Grid Integration activities in France. You will be part of a global team of HR Business Partners. We are seeking an experienced HR professional who values collaboration, knowledge‑sharing, transparency, and the ability to identify opportunities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work on both operational and strategic tasks, with a strong focus on people, culture, and organizational topics. Understand business needs and proactively propose HR solutions that bring value while ensuring compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
- Partner with the business to ensure that workforce planning and onboarding processes support growth objectives. Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Apply global performance standards, KPIs, and objectives to foster a high‑performance culture. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on key people‑management activities.
- Work with leaders to identify, develop, and strengthen the talent pipeline. Use Leadership Pillars and Diversity360 to shape culture and behaviors, empowering employees to reach their full potential.
- Implement learning and development initiatives to enhance both technical and managerial skills, in collaboration with HR Talent teams.
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees. Address ongoing issues through HR practices, processes, and policies to maintain compliance and engagement.
- Ensure adherence to global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations and project execution.
- Support HR quality audits and ensure that processes meet required standards.
- Collaborate with project execution teams to ensure appropriate staffing, working closely with managers, Talent Acquisition, and Global Mobility for project worker mobilization.
- Contribute to day‑to‑day HR activities requiring HRBP involvement. Support managers in managing HR data and using dashboards and reports to facilitate decision‑making.
- Collect and report data to the local HR France teams to ensure that Grid Integration activities are properly recorded and compliant with French legislation.
Your Profile
- Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain collaborative working relationships.
- Previous leadership and/or HR experience in past roles is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the local labor market, legislation, and social policies.
- Strong understanding of business challenges and how HR can act as a true strategic partner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to reach consensus and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, and align actions with stakeholders.
- Flexible, resilient, and able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment.
