LILLE - ONCOVET - VETERINAIRE SPECIALISTE IMAGERIE (H/F)

Oncovet recruits a second ECDVI board certified or a ECVDI eligible radiologist. The post is opened from october 2023. It is a full time position on a basis of 4 days per week and 5 weeks of vacation. The candidate must be allowed to practice in Europe as a veterinarian and must have basis in french speaking but not necessary french native language (we have italian and spanish natives in our team).

Oncovet is a referral practice, opened in 2000. The main activity of the clinic is centered on Oncology with specialists in oncology, diagnostic imaging, surgery, radiotherapy, internal medicine and neurology. We have residency programs in diagnostic imaging and surgery, the applicant will have possibilty to supervise the diagnostic imaging resident.

The veterinarian staff in diagnostic imaging is composed of 1 ECVDI diplomate, 1 resident and 1 assistant. It is supported by 2 specialised technicians and 1 nurse.

The service is equipped with a digital radiography unit, 2 ultrasound machines, fluoroscopy and a 16 slices CT scan. A 1.5T MRI will be operationnal in october 2023.

A megavoltage radiotherapy unit with possibilty of stereotaxy, installed in 2023, completes the main technical equipment.

Oncovet is located in the north of France close to the nice city of Lille, 1h00 from Paris, and 1h30 from London and Amsterdam by train. Lille is a large university city, with a lot of cultural facilities and a typical folklore.
