LiDAR Systems Intern – Railway Sensing & CAD Design

OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION

We are looking for an intern for our high‑tech department. As part of the development team, your mission will be to assess, integrate and validate LiDAR technologies for railway applications and support the development of a complete sensing solution.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION

• Assess and benchmark LiDAR technologies available on the market.
• Implement a testing procedure and conduct laboratory tests.
• Create a 3D model of the complete solution, including LiDAR packaging and integration constraints.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and engineering requirements.
• Request quotations and conduct supplier research.
• Support the development and validation of the complete sensing system.

PROFILE

• Educational level: Master’s degree (Bac+5 / MSc).
• Technical skills: sensor technologies, system development, mechanical design, testing and validation, 3D CAD modelling.
• Areas of interest: Sensor technology, System development, Mechanical design.
• Behavioral skills: teamwork, autonomy, analytical thinking.
• Contract: 6 months internship starting September 2026 / February 2027.
