Description du poste

Lead in the HSE team in preparing and monitoring the various authorisation application processes (requested in the environmental and construction fields). Ensure compliance with environmental regulation and standards from design to site management.

KPIs:

  • Permitting budget plan vs actuals
  • Permitting schedule plan vs actuals
  • Number of opportunities and risks materialized

Ownership of licensing & permitting for the construction and operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, enforcing EHS policies, as well as delivering all the work needed in terms of Safety in design, including safety trainings, the design and compliance of fire detection and protection systems, simplifying the insurability of the future operations.

Key accountabilities:

  • Leads in the HSE team the preparation and monitoring the various authorisation application processes (requested in the environmental and construction fields) until the formal authorization is granted.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulation and standards from design to site management.

Major tasks:

  • Leads the collection, consolidation and critical analysis of baseline environmental data (current situation) and future data (with the project) from site teams (HSE, energy, production, logistics, etc.) and the Project team, with a requirement for quality and compliance with deadlines for their supply and validation.
  • Leads the preparation, drafting and support of the Environmental Authorization Application, the main components of which are the Impact Assessment, the Hazard Assessment and the Health Risk Assessment, in liaison with the expert and architectural firms commissioned to draw up these documents and with the various authorities (DREAL, DDTM, ARS, etc.), until the operating permit and building permit are obtained.
  • Ensure that environmental regulation and standards are implemented throughout the phases of the project.

Qualifications

Qualification & skills:

  • Master's Degree (Environment, QHSE...) with relevant previous training courses and sufficient level in chemistry.
  • Technical English, read and spoken.
  • Ability to acquire, analyze and summarize a large amount of data, available from a wide range of sources.
  • Ability to contribute actively to the preparation of a multi-dimensional dossier (environmental impact, technological risks, impact on the environment and on health risks).
  • Ability to work as part of an international, multidisciplinary project team.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to listen, curiosity, tenacity and rigor, self‑reliance, dynamism.
