The Operation Manager of Licences oversees the end-to-end management of Lanvin's licence partners across product categories, ensuring alignment with brand standards, commercial performance, and contractual obligations.

The role bridges product development, marketing validation, and business development across active licence territories and categories.

1. Partnership Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for licence partners across assigned categories (RTW Women, RTW Men, Maison, and others)
  • Organize and lead partner meetings; prepare agendas, minutes (PVs), and ensure follow-up on action points
  • Manage contractual obligations and monitor compliance with licence agreements, including royalty structures and payment schedules
  • Consolidate and share seasonal creative inputs with partners: inspirations, moodboards, colorways, artworks, and key silhouettes
  • Oversee collection development with partners, from briefing through execution, integrating specific partner requests into main collection briefs as needed
  • Coordinate fabric sourcing follow-up: participation in trade shows, management of supplier information (pricing, lead times), and communication to partners
  • Monitor and develop the retail distribution network, supporting point‑of‑sale openings and closures

2. Financial & Reporting

  • Set and track annual sales targets, budgets, and royalty objectives by partner and category
  • Monitor sell‑in and sell‑out performance; produce regular reporting and KPI dashboards
  • Key KPIs: sales through, product delivery lead times, royalty control, revenue tracking
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and identify commercial opportunities

3. Marketing Coordination

  • Review and validate all partner‑produced marketing content to ensure brand consistency
  • Approve marketing support materials (digital, print, retail) in line with Lanvin's brand guidelines
  • Support local communication and advertising activities in partner territories

4. Business Development

  • Identify growth opportunities by product category and territory, in coordination with current and prospective partners
  • Support negotiation and renewal of licence contracts in collaboration with legal and finance teams
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform partnership strategy

    5. Administration & Coordination

    • Manage back‑office tasks: expense reports, invoicing, travel coordination, contractual documentation
    • Recruit and onboard interns; provide training and day‑to‑day supervision

    PROFILE

    Education & Experience

    • Master's degree from business school or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within luxury, fashion or premium lifestyle
    • Experience in business development in an international environment is a plus

    Core Skills

    • Required qualities: maturity, autonomy, versatility, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Analytical rigour: mastery of Excel, performance dashboards and digital KPIs
    • Fluent English required; French and/or a third language is a strong asset
    • Keen aesthetic sensibility and understanding of luxury brand codes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (Excel, planning tools, etc.).
