Legal Manager, DPO
Overview
Develop and maintain HarfangLab’s legal framework so that it aligns with the company’s strategy, new regulations, and client requirements across the French and European markets.
Support contractual negotiations and responses to tenders with clients and partners, and assist the sales and operations teams in managing contractual matters.
Protect our intellectual property and trademarks by consolidating and strengthening existing processes and measures.
Provide legal advice on any issue that may arise within the organization, acting as a trusted legal reference for teams.
Inform and advise HarfangLab and its employees on the application of data protection regulations (GDPR and national law).
Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies, notably by implementing the GDPR compliance roadmap and contributing to HarfangLab’s continuous improvement.
Conduct and oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) in coordination with the CISO and relevant stakeholders.
Act as the contact point for data subjects regarding their rights and handle related requests.
Cooperate with the CNIL (and other competent supervisory authorities), particularly in the event of incidents or data breaches.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a legal department, ideally within the technology sector
- Master’s degree in law, with a specialization in technology law, contract law, or data protection
- Strong knowledge of the GDPR and European data protection frameworks
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Curiosity about LegalTech and AI tools and a willingness to implement them in daily practice
