Legal Counsel (m/f) - Ethics & Compliance
Job Description
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a motivated and dynamic Legal Counsel (m/f) - Ethics & Compliance with a positive mindset and efficient approach to join the Legal & Compliance Department based in Marignane, France. Reporting to the Head of Ethics & Compliance, you will join a team of eight and contribute to the overall activities in an environment that fosters collaboration, efficiency, inclusion and collegiality.
As a key member of the Legal & Compliance function, your role is built around five fundamental pillars:
Your main missions:
- Advisory & Business Support: Be a pragmatic and trusted partner in managing Ethics & Compliance risks and opportunities on both civil and military markets, working closely with cross‑functional departments such as Sales, Finance and Export Control.
- Risk Assessment & Management: Assist in conducting and updating the corruption risk mapping to identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks related to our operations.
- Third‑Party Due Diligence: Contribute to the Third Parties Management process for Airbus Helicopters’ Sales Intermediaries, Lobbyists & Special Advisors, Channel Partners, Suppliers and Customers.
- Training & Culture: With dynamism and creativity, contribute to develop and deliver specialized training sessions to Airbus Helicopters’ employees and promote a "Speak Up" culture across the Company.
- Monitoring & Internal Investigations: Contribute to the monitoring of compliance controls and participate, when necessary, in internal investigations or audits related to potential breaches of the Code of Conduct.
Your profile:
- Experience: Minimum of five to ten years of professional experience in law, with significant specialization in Ethics & Compliance within an international industrial group or a top‑tier law firm.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of international anti‑corruption regulations, including but not limited to the US FCPA, UK Bribery Act and French (Sapin II).
- Business partnering: Customer‑oriented mindset and ability to translate complex legal requirements into pragmatic legal advice.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Agility & execution: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, adapting to a constantly evolving and demanding environment.
- Ownership & initiative: Autonomy and proactiveness, anticipating questions or issues and alerting when appropriate.
- Integrity & collaboration: High ethical standards, professional integrity and a collaborative team spirit.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
- Digital Tools: Proficiency in digital tools and a demonstrated ability to embrace and adapt to digital transformation initiatives within a legal environment.
