We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
Responsibilities
- Create and manage data privacy and AI compliance programmes, driving global initiatives alongside the Group DPO.
- Lead compliance projects and support commercial contract activity.
- Design and manage third‑party due diligence programmes (risk‑tiering, screening, remediation).
- Coordinate compliance training campaigns in partnership with HR and develop training for non‑legal stakeholders.
- Manage retention schedules and data disposition processes, oversee legal holds and documentation.
- Support reporting across compliance programmes.
- Draft commercial contracts using standard templates (distribution, supply, services).
- Review counterparty amendments and propose responses; draft and review NDAs.
- Conduct legal research to support the wider legal team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
- Strong experience in data privacy, compliance or commercial legal work.
- Familiarity with GDPR and European privacy frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating across teams.
- Experience with Office 365 (essential).
- Fluency in English (required).
Nice to have
- Experience with contract management tools.
- Exposure to contract negotiation.
- Experience in due diligence programmes.
- Experience working with European privacy regulations.
- Strong team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Additional European language (useful).
