Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on EU product compliance, consumer protection law, advertising, and creator marketing applicable to online marketplace.
• Provide legal support on EU intellectual property rights (IPR) matters, as well as broader marketplace governance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., policy, operations, product, and enforcement teams) to ensure consistent and effective compliance practices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing strategic and tactical priorities in a high‑growth environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in‑house and/or in a reputable law firm, working in the IP, media, technology and/or e‑Commerce fields.
• In‑depth knowledge of EU laws applicable to e‑Commerce platforms, digital marketplaces, and the retail sector.
• Strong familiarity with key EU regulatory frameworks, including the Digital Services Act (DSA), General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), and EU market surveillance rules.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience handling regulatory inquiries or investigations is highly desirable.
• Intellectual property rights (IPR) experience in a marketplace context is a plus.
• Ideally, in‑house experience within an international, matrixed organization.
