Legal Counsel Apprentice

Overview

About the team: Our Legal team is the primary legal partner for Equativ's business leaders across the globe. Team members provide regulatory support and advice and grow in a fast-paced and complex environment. This position reports to the Global Head of Legal based in Paris.

What You'll Do

You will contribute across multiple areas, including:

• Corporate: assist with shares transfer, keep corporate registers up to date, draft powers of attorney, and monitor company mergers and subsidiaries implementations.
• Data Privacy: assist with internal registers updates, review data processing agreements, and update/duplicate contract templates and guidelines.
• Legal monitoring and research: provide regular legal updates and memos on new regulations, case law, contracts, privacy, and related laws.

Contracts

• Assist in the review and negotiation process of contracts, including NDAs, commercial agreements (adserving and RTB, addendum), and supplier contracts.
• Audit signed contracts to create a smart mapping of the company contract base.

About You

• Master’s degree in business law or digital law.
• Ability to manage many projects simultaneously and build strong relationships with all business units and departments.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Team spirit, proactivity, and a sense of confidentiality and respect.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Seeking an apprenticeship starting in September.

Bonus Skills

• Experience as a Legal Counsel intern in a digital environment.
• Comfortable with data privacy regulations and laws.
