Legal Counsel

Location

Hybrid (Paris) – 10% travel.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to support the Cisco EMEA Legal team, focusing on France and other regions based on language skills. The role involves drafting and negotiating sales, software licensing, cloud, SaaS, and Data Processing agreements, providing privacy legal advice, working cross‑functionally, engaging in strategic projects, delivering legal training, and communicating key information to management and business clients.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate sales, software licensing, cloud, SaaS, and Data Processing agreements in line with Cisco’s business strategy.
• Provide legal advice on privacy and related matters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on strategic projects.
• Deliver legal training to business stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication of key information to the management chain and business clients.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial in‑house legal experience with a large technology company.
• Completed legal studies in France.
• Excellent written and oral skills in English and French; fluency in additional languages, especially Arabic, considered a plus.
• Demonstrated experience using legal technology or contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms, including AI tools.
