Exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel - 12 month contract - with strong possibility of going permanent, Paris

We are looking for a bright, commercially minded CAPA-qualified lawyer with a strong background in corporate law, ideally gained at a leading international or French law firm. Candidates with a blend of private practice and in‑house experience will also be of interest, particularly those who have advised on M&A, corporate governance, group reorganisations, shareholder matters and general corporate transactions. This role would suit an ambitious lawyer who enjoys working closely with the business and wants to play a key role in a high‑growth international organisation.

This opportunity is with a fast‑growing international company that is a household name and the clear leader in its field, with operations across Europe and North America. Reporting to an experienced, dynamic and highly supportive General Counsel, you will be exposed to a broad range of corporate and strategic matters, with a particular focus on M&A, corporate governance, shareholder and board matters, group structuring projects and wider corporate advisory work.

You will play a central role in supporting the company’s continued expansion, including a significant pipeline of acquisitions and strategic corporate initiatives. The role offers significant exposure to M&A transactions, governance matters and other business‑critical growth projects. You will work closely with senior management and board‑level stakeholders and help develop governance frameworks and legal processes that support a large and evolving international business.
