Legal Assistant / Paralegal (3 Months, Temporary)

Overview

Legal Assistant / Paralegal – temporary 3‑month contract, hybrid (3 days per week) position based in Bidart, France. Reporting to the VP of Legal Affairs, the role focuses on legal administrative support, particularly commercial contract lifecycle management and corporate administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the contract lifecycle process, including planning, collaboration, negotiation and execution.
• Coordinate the signing process for contracts and other legal documents.
• Ensure proper filing of legal documents and maintain the legal management database (corporate, contracts, IP).
• Maintain and file corporate records, including resolutions, proxies, board of director changes, annual reports and related filings.
• Assist with the preparation of draft documents such as agendas, corporate resolutions and meeting minutes for board and committee meetings.
• Execute administrative and operational processes for the legal team.
• Provide support on internal legal queries and participate in corporate administrative processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a legal administrative role, both practice and in‑house experience acceptable.
• Direct exposure to negotiation and management of commercial contracts.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously across a broad range of matters.
• Capacity to prioritise competing deadlines and deliver under pressure.
• Full fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Comfortable working within an international organisation.
