Lead UX-UI Designer - CDI - (F/M/X)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Veepee, pioneer of online flash sales since 2001 and key player in European e-commerce, collaborates with over 7,000 brands to offer highly discounted products available for a limited time.

Operating across various sectors, including fashion, home, wine, travel or beauty, Veepee achieved a turnover of 3.3 billion euros incl. VAT in 2024 and employs 5,000 staff members across 10 countries.

TASKS

• Transversal leadership / mentoring role for dedicated UX inside the domain (no management)
• Ensure the link between conception and KPI to measure the success of our deliveries
• Help finalise design reviews inside the domain
• Gather the UX community and spread the design culture
• Build a plan to develop design team skills
• Accountable for practices and harmonisation at VeepeeTech level (common framework and methodologies)
• Have a strong understanding of usability, interaction design, information architecture

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Lean UX and double diamond have no secrets for you
• At least 3 years of experience leading a community of UX/UI designers
• Fluent in English
• Use and abuse design thinking methods; love debating and giving constructive criticism
• Empathetic leadership skills with good verbal and rhetorical skills, enjoyment of working in a group and participation in team life
• Ability to handle emotional design with skill to create memorable user experiences
• View the design system as more than an interesting Medium article
