Lead Solutions Engineer - PI System (Founding Team)

Ematica France is looking for its first Lead Engineer on PI System (m/f).

After our proven success as the leader in Time Data Management and Industrial AI in Italy, we are launching our French operations.

You will be the technical reference and the "architect" of our solutions in France. Your role is to transform complex industrial data into actionable insights for our Tier-1 clients (Energy, Pharma, Chemicals). You will work in a high-performance duo with our Pre-Sales Lead.

The successful candidate will be involved in high-tech & international projects, focusing on AVEVA / OSIsoft PI System, process data integration, and supporting industrial digitalization initiatives on an enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities (Technical Excellence)

• Architecture & Deployment: Design, install, and configure the PI System infrastructure (Data Archive, AF, Vision, Interfaces/Connectors).
• Industrial Analytics: Build complex calculation models and Event Frames to monitor industrial performance (OEE, Energy consumption, Predictive Maintenance).
• Project Execution: Lead the technical delivery of PoCs and full-scale industrial rollouts.
• Standardization: Create and maintain the "Ematica France" technical library (templates and best practices) to ensure scalable delivery.
• L3 Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for strategic accounts.

Requirements (The "Must-Haves")

• Experience: 5 years strict minimum of hands-on experience with the PI System (AVEVA/OSIsoft). Certification is a strong plus.
• Industrial DNA: Deep understanding of industrial processes and protocols (OPC, Modbus, MQTT, SQL). You know how a factory works.
• Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering (Automation, Industrial IT, or similar).
• Strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to interact with international stakeholders.
• Client relationship management, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
• Languages: Native-level French and proficient in English. Italian is a plus but not mandatory.
• Mindset: Rigorous, autonomous, and eager to build a company from the ground up.
