Lead Rotating Engineer

• Lead and coordinate all rotating equipment engineering activities throughout detailed design and procurement phases.
• Review and supervise EPC Contractor design deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, budget, schedule, and HSE expectations.
• Manage interfaces between rotating equipment and other disciplines including Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC, Technical Safety, and ICSS.
• Review engineering documentation, vendor packages, technical queries, and design modifications.
• Support rotating equipment selection, technical evaluations, procurement activities, vendor management, and purchase order execution.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, HAZOPs, FATs, pre-FATs, and vendor inspections.
• Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, local regulations, and company HSE requirements.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of rotating equipment engineering experience within the Oil & Gas industry.

At least 3 years of FPSO or similar offshore project experience .

Strong experience in:

• Detailed engineering and design reviews
• Technical bid evaluations
• FATs and vendor inspections
• Commissioning and pre-commissioning activities

Solid knowledge of API, ISO, ASME, and international engineering standards .

Experience working with EPC contractors on major offshore projects. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Fluent in English ; French language skills are an advantage.
