Why we need you
Beyond Good & Evil 2 is the direct prequel to the 2003 cult classic, powered by our proprietary engine Voyager, and aims to deliver a seamless and organic experience of exploration and space piracy at the scale of a solar system. You will help build System 3 and push the boundaries of entertainment.
What you will do
- Lead and organize QA team activities: set clear objectives, prioritize, plan, and allocate resources.
- (Re)design, implement, and maintain QA processes (test strategy, acceptance criteria, traceability, reporting).
- Collaborate closely with Development teams, the other QA lead, and the QA team to continuously improve pipelines.
- Deliver regular reports on project quality status and risks; proactively raise alerts and propose action plans.
- Set up targeted actions to identify, prioritize, and clarify blocking or disruptive bugs and ensure their resolution.
- Build a positive team culture with motivation, recognition, team spirit, rituals, and transparency.
- Support individual growth: continuous feedback, performance reviews, training needs, and skills development.
Important

You will collaborate daily with Liviu‑Ioan (your manager) and with development and production teams in a multi‑studio environment.
Qualifications

- Hands‑on knowledge of QA tools and methods (bug tracking, databases, test plans, strategies, prioritization).
- Comfortable with tracking tools such as Jira and testing methodologies; able to design and optimize test cases and reports.
- Fluent English (multi‑studio context).
- Technical interest: understanding of environments, platforms, and QA tools; advanced technical topics are handled by the co‑lead.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of consoles and build pipelines.
- Basic networking or online services understanding.
- Exposure to game engines and/or scripting.
Soft Skills (what We Expect From You)
