Lead Product Designer F/H
About Kazaar
Kazaar is a strategic spin‑off of the Altavia Group, created to transform the management of offline marketing operations. Its SaaS platform enables marketing and procurement departments of major brands and retailers to manage, optimize, and control their print operations, while providing printers with a solution to boost their productivity. AI is at the very core of the platform. Over €40 million in purchases already transit through Kazaar via the Altavia network. With a team of 36 employees and 6 freelancers, the company is now entering its scale‑up phase.
About the role
As our most senior designer, you’ll operate at the intersection of craft and strategy. You’ll own the overall product design vision — from high‑level platform UX architecture down to polished UI execution — partnering directly with the CPO as a trusted creative and strategic counterpart.
Depending on your experience or how the team evolves, you may take on an informal mentoring and guiding role or a people‑management position. What matters most is that you bring strong creative direction and a platform‑wide perspective that complements the rest of the team.
This isn’t a heads‑down execution role. We need someone who can zoom in and out, see the whole picture, be hands‑on, and move fast — bringing both vision and hands‑on craft.
What you’ll do
- Define and drive the overall product design vision and platform-level UX — the holistic end‑to‑end experience
- Own a scalable design system (components, tokens, patterns) that enables consistency and speed across the product
- Partner with the CPO as a strategic creative voice — shaping product direction, not just executing it
- Collaborate with and guide the Senior Product Designer and Product Managers, sharing context and raising the overall design quality
- Bring an AI‑first approach to your workflow — using the latest tools to move faster, prototype smarter, and spend less time on repetitive tasks
- Translate complex B2B use cases into simple, intuitive, elegant interfaces that users actually enjoy
- Create strong user experiences that drive adoption and remove any friction points
- Establish visual design standards, brand coherence, and UI quality across the platform
What we offer
- A role with a measurable impact on the business
- Full immersion in the strategy of a growing company
- Work‑life balance: 2 days of remote work per week
- The Kazaar extras: €10 meal vouchers, health insurance and transportation covered at 50%, courier/mail service, access to a gym with coaching sessions, and participation in team seminars, rituals, and on‑site events such as Wellbeing at Work Week, Disability Awareness Week, meetups, and themed evenings
- Free access to a private outdoor parking area for cars, bikes, and motorcycles; indoor parking with charging stations for scooters, Vélib’ station directly in front of the building

What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in product design, ideally in B2B SaaS or complex platforms
- Portfolio showing platform‑level UX thinking — not just isolated screens
- Command of design systems and UI craft
- Use of AI tools actively in your workflow (Figma AI, Cursor, generative prototyping, etc.)
- Confident communicating design rationale to non‑designers
- Working‑level of English (all documentation is done in English)
- Basic understanding of French
- Experience leading or mentoring other designers
You’ll thrive here if:
- You think in systems, not just screens
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy shaping undefined spaces
- You move fast and prioritise shipping over perfection
- You see AI as a creative multiplier, not a threat
- You want a real seat at the table — not just a ticket queue
- You enjoy mentoring and raising the bar of those around you
- You have impeccable design aesthetic
- Familiarity with user research methods and running discovery
- Some exposure to front‑end (HTML/CSS) or working closely with engineering
