About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Team Lead to join our dynamic team as we develop our cloud-based product. As a Lead, your impact will make a difference every day, we encourage you to take the initiative and own your role.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and managing the infrastructure, tools, and processes required to support our cloud platform, ensuring reliability, availability and security.
• Owning platform and application security, including standards, controls, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Enhancing, operating and maintaining our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Taking ownership of application deployment across development and production environments, including automation, reliability, security, and ongoing maintenance.
• Steering technical decisions, fostering innovation, and maintaining code quality through reviews and engineering standards.
• Leading the team by providing guidance, developing team capabilities and ensuring effective task allocation.
• Driving secure and responsible AI-assisted engineering practices across the team.
• Ensuring delivery of new features and effective support for internal and customer needs with an emphasis on customer service.
• Facilitating communication with stakeholders, resolving issues, and fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Monitoring technology trends, emerging tools, security practices, and market developments to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• DevOps: GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
• Cloud: AWS (predominantly), Azure, GCP
• DevSecOps: HashiCorp Boundary, Vault, Keycloak, AWS WAF&Shield, Azure WAF, Cloud Armor, Cert-Manager, Harmony P81, Wiz, Semgrep, Grype
• Coding & Scripts: Python, Bash

About you Qualifications we value:

• At least one programming or scripting language, preferably Bash/Python.
• Kubernetes in production: you know Kubernetes API in and out.
• Terraform/Ansible and automation technologies and either Puppet, or Chef.
• DevOps/DevSecOps experience, and are comfortable with at least one cloud provider, preferably AWS.
• The operations of a SaaS for a commercial software company with a leading role and a good understanding of the work responsibilities and processes.
• Management, feeding the team with new ideas and innovation.
• Linguistic skills: Good in English both written and verbal, French is a plus.
