As a Lead IT, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a technical team in charge of managing IT infrastructures and resolving technical issues. You will provide technical expertise, coordinate IT projects, ensure the smooth functioning of systems, and guarantee data security. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to meet the company’s IT and audiovisual needs. Active management skills are required, as well as on the ground tasks alongside your team.

Key responsibilities
- Management: Supervise the Corporate IT team: Lead and mentor a team of 4 IT Support administrators and/or interns. Allocate tasks, set goals, and monitor progress. Provide technical guidance and advice to resolve complex issues. Participate in day-to-day operations, handle tickets, and address user issues as required.
- Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand IT requirements and needs. Develop project plans, define milestones, and deadlines. Monitor project progress and manage resources efficiently. Provide visibility to stakeholders as required.
- IT Infrastructure: Oversee the management of Cloud services, networks, and operating systems. Ensure the availability and reliability of IT infrastructures. Evaluate hardware and software needs and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Data Security: Implement security measures to protect company data in collaboration with the Cybersecurity team. Supervise backup and disaster recovery procedures. Manage access permissions and security controls.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot issues, and respond to assistance requests. Train users on the usage of systems and software.
- Finance Management: Oversee the IT department’s budget, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with the finance team to manage IT-related financial processes, such as procurement and vendor management. Provide financial reports and analysis to management for decision-making.
- Audiovisual: Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of audiovisual equipment and systems across all sites, and especially at the new HQ. Coordinate audiovisual requirements for company events, meetings, and presentations. Collaborate with external vendors to source audiovisual equipment and services as needed.
About you
- Proven professional experience as a team leader or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure management and data security.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems, networks, and databases.
- Ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
- A team player with a strong aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of finance management principles, and audiovisual technologies is needed.
- Fluent speaker in French and English
