Lead Installation Methods Engineer

Join the subsea methods engineering team of a major international EPCI contractor in the Paris area as a Lead Installation Methods Engineer. You will coordinate the methods engineering activities across your scope, providing technical and administrative supervision, interfacing with project teams, offshore operations, clients and subcontractors, and reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet offshore execution requirements.

What you will do

• Coordinate installation methods engineering activities, providing technical and administrative supervision
• Interface with project teams, offshore operations, clients and subcontractors
• Supervise work progress and review engineers' procedures and calculations against offshore requirements, client specifications and vessel/barge constraints
• Cover pipelines (J-lay/reel-lay), risers (single and multiple), spools, jumpers
• Cover subsea structures
• Cover floaters (FPSO...), anchoring, buoys and offloading lines
• Provide technical support to the installation team onboard and advise vessel management on project technical aspects
• Participate in critical offshore operations to ensure execution per methodology and capture lessons learned

What you bring

• Strong track record in subsea installation methods engineering (O&G), with team/technical supervision experience
• Solid knowledge of pipelines, risers, spools, jumpers, structures, flexibles, umbilicals, floaters, SURF
• Strong understanding of vessel/barge constraints and site feasibility
• BOSIET + CA-EBS (OPITO) and MFC (OGUK) - mandatory for offshore
• Professional English, written and spoken
