Lead HVAC Engineer

Job DescriptionWe regularly recruit Lead HVAC Engineers to work with a major engineering group on large Oil & Gas projects managed from Paris. You are responsible for the HVAC discipline, from design through to vendor bid evaluation.Your responsibilities\n

• Prepare HVAC technical documents: specifications, design basis, thermal calculation notes, equipment lists, schematic diagrams and tender specifications.
\n
• Define control and regulation principles for HVAC systems.
\n
• Manage interfaces with the process, safety, electrical and architecture disciplines.
\n
• Monitor the discipline's man hours budget, schedule and deliverables.
\n
• Review, clarify and technically evaluate vendor offers.
\n
• Coordinate operating centres and the project's engineering partners.
\n

Your profile\n

\n
• At least 10 years of experience in HVAC or building services engineering, with significant exposure to the Oil & Gas sector.
\n
• Engineering degree in thermal engineering, energy or equivalent.
\n
• Good knowledge of HVAC standards applicable to industrial facilities and hazardous areas (ASHRAE, ATEX).
\n
• Experience managing an operational team is an asset.
\n
