About the role

As a Lead Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will work at the intersection of AI engineering, client delivery, and product innovation. You will partner directly with enterprise clients to design and implement scalable AI systems, contribute to technical strategy, and lead engineering teams on mission‑critical projects. This highly hands‑on role requires strong technical depth, leadership capabilities, and the ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into production‑grade AI solutions.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design and deployment of AI‑powered applications and platforms
• Build scalable backend systems and data pipelines for AI workloads
• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders in technical and strategic discussions
• Drive end‑to‑end software development lifecycle activities
• Guide engineering best practices and architecture decisions
• Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of AI systems
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team leadership
• Support business development and technical pre‑sales initiatives
• Contribute to thought leadership through publications, conferences, or technical communities

Profil

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in software engineering and AI system development
• Expertise in Python and modern backend engineering practices
• Experience deploying machine learning or generative AI solutions in production
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and distributed systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and entrepreneurial attitude

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, agentic systems, or GenAI frameworks
• Familiarity with MLOps and scalable ML infrastructure
• Exposure to data engineering and analytics platforms
• Consulting or client‑facing experience
• Publications, open‑source contributions, or conference speaking experience
