Lead Engineer pour Maritime Surveillance
Job Description
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Technical Manager for Maritime Surveillance (f/m) to join our team in Elancourt, France.
You will be part of a team developing STYRIS®, an Airbus product line for collection, processing, consolidation, enrichment, distribution, and display of data derived from a wide range of maritime sensors such as radars, automatic identification systems, radar direction finders, cameras, weather stations, and sonars.

Responsibilities
- Deliver the maritime system based on Styris OTOCOQ
- Define the scope clearly and manage changes with proper proposals and impact analysis.
- Structure and plan the engineering work.
- Define and monitor engineering risks and opportunities.
- Monitor and control engineering progress (time, cost, quality).
- Ensure that commitments made during the bids are planned.
- Conduct engineering reviews
- Carry out system studies and designs, organise design reviews before launching development (CDR).
- Structure IVV work (Integration, Verification, Validation) in Elancourt and organise the appropriate test review (FAT).
- Support the IVV work on site.
- Lead the engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Computer science or a comparable field of study, 15+ years of professional experience.
- 5+ years as a technical lead, team management, and customer relationship.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Fast learner, curious, structured, team spirit.
- Knowledge in systems, networks, Linux, electronics (radars, VoIP, camera, VHF), information‑system security, and general computer knowledge.
- Proficient in English.
- Desirable: Agile experience.
- Requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognised authorities.
