AsLead Data Science,youwillplayakeyroleinshapingthe future ofVolta'sAItechnology. Youwilllead amultidisciplinaryData Scienceteamandcontributedirectlyto thedevelopmentof innovative machinelearningsolutionsembeddedinmedicaldevicesuseddailyinelectrophysiologylabsworldwide.

Reporting to the VP Innovation, you will combine scientificexpertise, technicalleadershipand people management to drive the development of next-generation AI algorithms while ensuring compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards.

YourResponsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Define and drive the Data Science roadmap inalignmentwithproductand businesspriorities.

• Lead the design,developmentand validation of state-of-the-art Machine Learning and Deep Learningalgorithms.

• Ensurescientificexcellence andpromotebest practices in AIresearchanddevelopment.

• Stay up to datewiththelatestadvancesin AI andidentifyopportunitiestointegratenew technologiesintoVolta'sproducts.

• Support thedefinitionof datastrategiesandcontributeto thecontinuousimprovementof data collection pipelines.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor andgrowateamof Data Scientists, DataEngineersand PhDresearchers.

• Foster a collaborative, innovative and high-performance culture.

• Coachteammembersinbothtechnicalandprofessionaldevelopment.

• Coordinatepriorities,allocateresourcesandensuretimelyprojectdelivery.

Product Development

• CollaboratecloselywithSoftware Engineering,Clinical,Regulatoryand Productteamsthroughouttheproductlifecycle.

• Contributeto software architecture discussionsinvolvingAI components.

• Ensureproduction-ready,maintainableand high-qualitycode.

• Participatein thepreparationoftechnicaldocumentationrequiredforregulatorysubmissions.

Scientific & External Collaboration

Your Profile

Education & Experience

• PhD in Computer Science,Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics,Physicsorarelated field.

• 10+yearsofexperiencedevelopingMachine Learning solutions in anindustrialR&Denvironment.

• 5+yearsofexperienceleadingtechnicalteamsor mentoring Data Scientists.

• Experienceworkinginregulatedenvironments(MedicalDevices, Healthcare, Automotive, Aerospace orsimilar)isastrongplus.

• ExperiencebringingAImodelsfromresearchto production.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning andstatisticalmodeling.

• Excellentunderstandingof modeldevelopment,evaluationanddeployment.

• Strongprogrammingskillsin Python.

• ExperiencewithPyTorch,Scikit-learn,NumPy, Pandas andrelatedMLlibraries.

• Familiaritywithsoftware engineering best practices (Git,testing, CI/CD, Docker).

• Goodknowledgeof Linuxenvironments.

• ExperiencewithcloudcomputingandMLOpsisa plus.

• Signalprocessingknowledgewouldbehighlyappreciated.
