Lead Controls & Finance Enablement (d/f/m)
Your role is a key partner to the local commercial organization and the broader finance network within Roche Diagnostics, overseeing the Sapin2 controls framework, leading a team of Finance Excellence Partners, and acting as a core finance advisor.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance Excellence Partners team, fostering a culture of psychological safety, innovation, and high performance.
- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure the affiliate’s financial ambitions are achieved.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end Sapin2 controls framework: continuously monitor regulatory changes, maintain control mechanisms, perform dedicated controls, and coach stakeholders to perform high‑quality controls.
- Provide transparency on key risks to local senior leadership on a regular basis (e.g., Leadership Team, Compliance Committee).
- Serve as the primary finance advisor to local commercial teams on operational activities (M&A, product launches, business model implementations) and increase awareness of key finance activities.
- Proactively identify organisational process inefficiencies from internal control observations and drive counter‑measures in collaboration with local stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Country Chief Accountant and Roche Shared Service Center teams to link local accounting cases with global entries, support statutory closing, and co‑lead management reporting and shareholder meeting preparation.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent) with specialisation in Finance, Accounting, Control & Auditing, or DSCG.
- Minimum 3years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Accounting, Auditing or a related field, with previous leadership experience highly preferred.
- Strong background in Corporate Finance, IFRS, and French GAAP.
- Prior experience in internal control, including writing procedures.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills; a strong interest in information systems and experience managing FICO modules on SAP is appreciated.
- High degree of autonomy and fluency in both French and English (minimum C1 level).
