Lead Business Consultant - Front Office

Why this role is important to us

We are looking for a Lead Business Consultant to join our EMEA Consulting Services team. As a consultant in the Investments group you will become a trusted business and technology advisor for our clients in at least two of the following areas of SimCorp Dimension: portfolio management, trading and order management, compliance, performance measurement, risk management, regulatory topics, and instrument valuation.

Responsibilities

• Own major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects.
• Anticipate client needs by understanding relevant business processes in portfolio/asset management and act as a trusted advisor.
• Design and configure solutions across multiple modules and project streams to help clients reach their outcomes.
• Advise on and improve standard implementation processes and product/service offerings.
• Identify growth opportunities and propose new ideas to the organization.
• Participate in sales processes when required to position SimCorp concepts and offerings.
• Train and mentor less experienced colleagues and share knowledge internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science or a related field.
• Previous experience as an analyst or (implementation) consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.
• Excellent knowledge in at least two of the following areas:• Portfolio management• Trading and order management• Compliance and regulatory restrictions• Performance measurement and attribution• Risk management (market and liquidity)• Regulatory topics such as SolvencyII (including ORSA)• Instrument valuation and analytics (theoretical pricing)
• Certifications such as FRM, CFA, CIPM or equivalent are desirable.
• Team spirit and willingness to share knowledge.
• Strong communication, consulting, commercial awareness and customer orientation.
• Fluency in English and either French or Spanish.
• Travel readiness.
