Lead AML Project Manager – Qonto

Lead the development and execution of AML & Fraud operations, placing AI at the core of transformative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full portfolio backlog, prioritize initiatives, define roadmap, and protect against run pressures.
• Drive AI-enabled transformation: redesign AML & Fraud Ops processes with AI and bot‑enabled flows while maintaining compliance.
• Deliver end‑to‑end projects with scope, planning, execution, change management, stakeholder adoption, and predictable delivery.
• Lead and develop a team of ~7 junior Project Managers, set delivery standards, establish PM rituals and tooling, and build a high‑performing PM culture.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environment across Risk & Compliance, AFC, Internal Control and Audit, Ops, Tech, and Security to ensure safe rollouts and strong performance.

Qualifications

• Experienced in operational project management with a track record of complex, end‑to‑end projects.
• Builder mindset: designed operating systems from scratch, including rituals, standards, tools, and metrics.
• People leadership: managed development of a team for 2‑3+ years and prioritised coaching and quality execution.
• Stakeholder navigation: influenced across compliance, operations, and tech/security, communicating trade‑offs and pushing back constructively.
• AI curiosity: excited by AI‑enabled transformation in a regulated context; fluent in English and preferably French.
