About the job

Design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems that power the next generation of intelligent commerce. You will work at the intersection of Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to build AI-native products, agentic systems, and platform capabilities used by Mirakl customers and internal teams. This is a permanent position (CDI) based in Paris or Bordeaux, with 4 days on-site per week.

Annual gross salary range (package): €90,000 – €100,000

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer to transform cutting‑edge AI technologies into reliable, scalable, and measurable products used by leading enterprises worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Own AI Strategy for Your Domain: define AI vision and roadmap, identify high‑value opportunities with Product Managers and business leaders, prioritize investments, design and build production-grade AI systems, ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Drive Adoption & Business Impact: work closely with end users, measure adoption and outcomes, accelerate AI transformation, promote best practices for evaluation, testing, guardrails, and observability, review designs and mentor engineers, raise the quality bar across initiatives.

• Grow AI Capability: mentor AI engineers and agent builders, share knowledge, reusable components, build AI expertise within your organization.

You'll Love This Job If You Have

• 7+ years in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or Applied AI.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, evaluation, and production systems.
• Ability to influence Product and Business decisions.
• Proven leadership on complex cross‑functional initiatives.
