Laboratory Operation Coordination:
• Establish, review and evaluate Laboratory policies and procedures
• Supervise day-to-day operation activities in Laboratory area
• Develop and enhance IT system to enhance overall Laboratory service
Laboratory Operation Planning:
• Design, implement, and monitor the operational regulation compliance for laboratory center
• Establish priorities and related laboratory schedules
• Ensure availability of Lab Assistant and coordinate the recruitment process
• Maintain effective teaching & learning in Laboratory area activities in
• Monitor Laboratory preparation & implementation process
Laboratory Center System Development:
• Coordinate the activity of equipment, computer and server maintenance in Laboratory Center
• Coordinate the process of installing, cloning and preparation of software required by all academic departments or programs
• Coordinate safety and permissions regulation of server data and usage
• Ensure support and assistance related to facilities and equipment issues and repairs
Laboratory Facitilities Coordination (Hardware and Networking):
• Coordinate with related area to minimalize hardware impairment and facilitate hardware maintenance
• Oversee hardware recapitulation list of required facilities according to laboratory activities preparation process
• Coordinate preparation facilities and additional hardware according to required inquires and proposed deadline
Database & Application:
• Research, recommend and implement new application/system
• Organize and deliver application training with related module (e.g., computer, applications, and programs)
• Provide required application/database/system to support laboratory operation in related area
• Monitor daily operation activities (i.e., system/application/database) to ensure its maximum reliability and availability
Management Support Activities:
• Provide Report to direct Supervisor
• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System
• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor
Education Requirement:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree
Work Exposure/ Experience:
• Minimum 2 years in Senior Staff level position, or
• Minimum 4 years of working experience
Special Skill:
• Knowledge of Laboratory Management
