Responsibilities
We are seeking a LCMS Lab Applications Scientist to provide technical support and training for our analytical and scientific solutions. In this role you will collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver demonstrations, application support, and training that enables research and innovation. You will serve as a scientific advisor, helping customers optimize their workflows and maximize the value of their investments while contributing to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Working across multiple technology platforms, you’ll provide comprehensive pre‑ and post‑sales technical expertise, conduct product demonstrations, develop new applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and build relationships with customers. Your role will involve working with cross‑functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D, and product management to ensure customer success and drive business growth through technical excellence.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience with relevant analytical instrumentation and applications.
- Preferred fields of study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical problem‑solving and method development.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong presentation and training capabilities for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a results‑oriented environment.
- Experience in project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50–75%.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant scientific software.
- Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external customers.
- Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and passport required for travel.
