Responsibilities
- Manage Microsoft Teams telephony scope across a 19-country footprint, including PSTN connectivity and number portfolios.
- Design, configure, and maintain call queues and auto‑attendants for multiple sites.
- Lead new country telephony deployments, ensuring compliance and operational readiness.
- Operate as a full M365 engineer on collaboration incidents during standard shifts.
- Act as the telephony authority for all PSTN‑specific P1/P2 incidents and new site deployments.
- Oversee PSTN number assignment, porting, and lifecycle management across all regions.
- Analyze and resolve call quality issues using Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) and other diagnostics tools.
- Coordinate with SBC vendors, carriers, and Microsoft support for incident escalation and resolution.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System, including Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Microsoft Calling Plans.
- Experience with SBC configuration (AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle) and SIP signalling awareness for Direct Routing troubleshooting.
- Experience with voice routing policies, dial plans, PSTN usage records, and emergency calling (E911, location-based routing).
- Experience with Teams admin centre, Teams PowerShell module, and meeting configuration.
- Experience with call queues and auto‑attendants design, configuration, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with PSTN number assignment, porting, and lifecycle management across multiple countries.
- Experience with Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) for call analysis and diagnostics.
- Academic background: IT, telecommunications, or related field is a plus.
- Fluent English.
- Methodical precision under pressure and clear escalation judgment between SBC vendor, carrier, and Microsoft support.
- Strong documentation discipline for telephony topology and number inventory, and reliable availability for P1 on‑call and urgent number porting operations.
