KSA Account Manager
ROLE SUMMARY
The Account Manager owns senior client relationships across a portfolio of strategic, complex accounts, focusing on customer retention and long-term revenue growth. The role drives strategic account planning, solution-based selling, and opportunity development in close collaboration with product specialists. It ensures strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and proactive renewal and risk management. The Account Manager builds executive‑level relationships, aligns internal stakeholders, expands accounts through cross‑sell and up‑sell strategies, protects customer satisfaction, and mentors peers to enhance overall team performance.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker’s strategies, priorities and needs.
- Maintain solid understanding of LSEG propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest.
- Build and embed a long‑term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts.
- Drive growth by rapidly expanding LSEG footprint within their accounts.
- Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue.
- Coordinate all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end‑to‑end customer relationship.
- Drive efficiency in account administration (especially for lower value and growth potential accounts).
- Manage internal and external partners and maintain networks to come to terms and close deals.
- Lead deal team driven by customer strategy and opportunity.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve client invoice queries in a timely manner.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Established track record in driving growth, achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows.
- Solid experience in the financial services industry.
- Industry experience within the customer segment.
- Strong product knowledge.
- Ability to build relationships while collaborating and sharing knowledge with clients.
- Selling skills (identify, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling).
- Strong ability to work with clients and negotiate agreements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and implement a sales plan, and proficiency with diverse technologies.
- Problem‑solving ability—to understand, articulate, structure and resolve client needs.
- Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all organisational levels.
- Ability to collaborate with the account team to solve client challenges.
- Account management, sales or marketing experience in a customer‑facing environment required.
- Customer relationship management across your book of business required.
- Bachelor’s degree or suitable work experience.
